THE MUES PHOTOGRAPHY

Welcome to my web site. I am the tenth muse, specializing in photography and reside in Louisville Kentucky. I operate out of Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee, but I have camera and wheels so will travel anywhere upon request.



The tenth muse? People sometimes ask, what the **** does that mean?! 

Haven't you had  to read mythology in high school lit class? Not everybody, I guess.

There are nine Muses in Greek mythology. The goddesses of inspiration, science and the arts are Calliope (epic poetry), Clio (history), Euterpe (lyric poetry and music), Thalia (comedy), Melpomene (tragedy), Terpsichore (dance), Erato (love poetry), Polyhymnia (sacred poetry), and Urania (astronomy).

My name is Jone Elizabeth Roberts-Mues but please call me J.R. I am the goddess of photography and computer graphics!



I specialize in realism, capturing the moment as it happens instead of contriving a picture. If you are familiar with the "National Geographic" style of photography, this is more of it. 

Only the hippest and coolest people have their photos done by me. So all you traditional, uptight, white bread, la-ti-das, please leave now! (You know who you are and so do I).

I am a down to earth and relaxed individual. I prefer to make things as simple as possible for my clients as well as myself. If you make life easy, it will be easy.

On my site you will find examples of my style. On my service page there is also a price list for different kinds of photos and a copy of my contract.

One of my favorite gestures. I often do it just to see what reaction I get. So how do you want others to react to you?...not to mention your pictures.

As you can see I have a lot of fun working. I often use mirrors and a timer to take self portraits.
